Spark, Innistona Spark. Pointer Dog.

I only have a few pictures of Spark and this one sums it all up quite nicely. At the risk of glibness ” Dog and boy in perfect harmony”. The strategy was very complex and involved. If Ryan could see the dog it was close enough, if he couldn’t see it it was too far away. In Ryan’s first trial, The Breffnei & Oriel Novice they were second. In the Ryan’s first Open Stake they won it and effectively won another Open Stake that summer being the top pairing with a third place award. There were other awards too but I was the real winner. What father doesn’t want his son along with him and there is an element of satisfaction in being beaten by a better man, even if he is your son, and all of ten years old.
